In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts Somewhere Between The Whispers |
#11 04-30-2008 01:33 AM | Somewhere Between The Whispers
Tick……tick……tick……the clock whispers, as it drowns out the screams of an ever moving, ever changing universe, drawing my attention from my failed attempts to slumber. So quiet, the room remains, with only the whispers of the clock……tick……tick……tick.
Somewhere between those whispers, hide the dynamics of our world: An infant star is born. A nurturing planet changes seasons. A hungry lion gets one stride closer to a frightened gazelle. Two passionate lovers get one touch closer to heaven. The first ray of light enters the eyes of a newborn child, as the first unconditional love enters ...More
In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts Our Own Ignorance |
#10 04-28-2008 10:25 AM | Our Own Ignorance
In our vanity, we search for a constant, while in a world of change.
In our naivete, we act as though we are eternal, while in a life of mortality.
And in our ignorance, we stand idle, while waiting for dreams of our future to come true, as our present realities pass us by.

In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts Now That We're Apart |
#9 04-28-2008 10:04 AM | Now That We're Apart
For today I awoke from what I had hoped was a dream, but to my disappointment I realized, it was my reality.
For today I awoke to find that you were now gone forever, and while in this life:
Never again will I behold your beautiful eyes or your gentle smile.
Never again will I feel your soft touch or your breath upon my skin.
Never again will I taste your joys or your tears.
Never again will I hear your laughter or the comforting sounds of your voice, and
Never again will I smell the wonderful scent of the air that surrounds you.
But the greatest sadness of all isn't felt in knowing that the memories we formed together in the past will slowly fade with time ...More
In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts Road To Enlightenment |
#8 04-28-2008 04:37 AM | Road To Enlightenment
I truly love discussing our world, but at my own admittance I have a tendency to speak from my views, and that isn't always appropriate. However, rest assured that I have built many Universal vehicles to travel the roads of my mind, and most of them have gotten intellectual flat tires, or run out of creative gas somewhere along the way, leaving me stranded along the side of the highway to total enlightenment, somewhere between the village of "Ignorance is Bliss" and the big city of "Knowledge is Power". It is because I have often been down the road of others that I feel the need to try to steer their vehicle and I feel this is a personal character flaw.
In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts The Sea of Life |
#2 04-27-2008 08:07 PM | The Sea of Life
I awoke into this world at birth, submerged within the sea of life. It seems as though, within no time at all, the waves of circumstance began to crash against me at such a young age. So, almost instinctively and immediately, I began my long and hard struggle, fighting with all of my strength against the tides, forcing my way through them as they continued to pound against me.
Sometimes, it seemed as though I would swim so hard and for so long, only to be forced back to the same place that I had just been, and there were even many times when the waves rose so high against me, that I almost drowned beneath them, but I refused to give up. I was going to reach my destin ...More
In Poetically Philosophical Thoughts The ToE as a Portrait |
#1 04-27-2008 07:58 PM | The ToE as a Portrait
The only roadblocks in my mind are thrown up when I can't describe something by the interactions of fundamental entities. I think the system that best reflects our world, while making the fewest presumptions is probably the closest to being right.
If the universal framework we seek could be captured as a single image, and we all painted a portrait of it, the one who's painting best reflected it, while using the least amount of colors, would be the one I would want to hang on the wall of my mind. In my opinion, the painter who realized, that all of the seemingly endless colors that make up our world was merely the effect created by mixing only a fundamental few ...More
