Soul Theory discusses the facts of life, as may be observed by all, to better understand the workings and the purpose of life. It is not based on beliefs but makes one basic assumption at creation and builds on it using observed facts of life to establish the concepts for the theory.

Following the previous discussions on Creation, Man as a Human Being – Part I, and The Law of Revision, we have arrived at the following assumptions and conclusions:

1. In the beginning a perfect GOD created a perfect world, which has always been perfect and shall remain perfect forever and ever.
2. Order in this perfect world is controlled by GOD created laws, also known as natural laws, which have remained the same since the beginning, shall remain the same, and can neither be disobeyed nor broken, unlike man made laws which may be amended, disobeyed or broken.
3. The life of the human being is similar to the life of a one-seater car-in-motion or to the life of a one-seater plane-in-flight. The driver of the one-seater car-in-motion or the pilot of the one-seater plane-in-flight represents the being of the human being, which has been referred to as the soul-driver of the human being, the driver of the human body. At birth, a soul driver and a human body form a union to become a human being, remaining inseparable until there is total failure of the human body when the soul-driver departs from the failed human body, and the human being is said to be dead. Between the birth and death is the life cycle of the human being, when the soul-driver is observed to be in charge, going through the motions of life, expressing emotions, being taught the lessons of life, discovering the natural laws, finding out more and more about the world, learning from each experience, making choices, taking decisions, all resulting in the accumulation of knowledge and experience by the soul-driver. The total sum of the acquired knowledge and experience becomes the knowledge profile of the soul-driver. This knowledge profile keeps on rising as more knowledge and experience is acquired during the life cycle of a human being. All actions of the human being becomes a learning process leading to the accumulation of knowledge and experience by the soul-driver, and therefore defining the knowledge profile of the soul-driver at any point in time. Upon total failure of the human body, the soul-driver, which departs from the body, takes along its acquired knowledge profile being the accumulated knowledge and experience, and the human being is pronounced dead. The end of a life cycle.
4. The Law of Revision has been stated in various forms as:
i. Revision of a subject, topic, or lesson takes a shorter time than the time taken for the previous revision
ii. The time taken to learn or revise a subject, topic, or lesson is a measure of one’s revision level in that subject, topic, or lesson.
iii. Rate of learning is high at higher revision levels and low at lower revision levels.
Revision Gap has been defined as the period from the end of one revision to the start of the next revision, and we tend to forget more as the revision gap increases. We operate at varying revision levels based on the revision levels accomplished in the past and the measure of one’s revision gap.

Because human beings always tend to exhibit different knowledge profiles, and as the knowledge profile of a soul-driver at any point in time has been defined as the total sum of the acquired knowledge and experience, then differences in knowledge profiles of people exposed to the same environment and experience in a current life cycle, may be attributed to the knowledge profiles of the soul-drivers at birth. Human beings are therefore assumed to be born with dormant knowledge profiles and the different knowledge profile points may be activated when the related subjects are revised. Revision by a soul-driver of a particular subject could be at level zero, one, two, three, etc, depending on the previous revision level and the revision gap. We shall therefore assume that at the end of a life cycle, a soul-driver which departs with its knowledge profile from the human body of a dead human being, is after a certain length of time, reunited with another human body to form a new human being at birth, bringing along its dormant knowlwdge profile from the last life cycle to start a new life cycle. A process, which is to be referred to as “The Rebirth of a Soul-Driver”.

The knowledge profile of a soul-driver is a curve which describes the various revision levels (on the y-axis) for the various subjects, topics or lessons (on the x-axis) that may be learnt or studied in this world. A soul-driver with no acquired knowledge and no acquired experience on any subject, topic or lesson, will have a flat knowledge profile at the bottom of the knowledge profile chart as revision level will be zero for all subjects, topics and lessons. A flat knowledge profile at the bottom of a profile chart is a situation for the first time birth or life cycle of a soul-driver into this world. The knowledge and experience acquired by a soul-driver during a first life cycle will result in a different knowledge profile at the end of the first cycle, making it possible for this soul-driver to enter its second life cycle or be reborn with a dormant knowledge profile which will not be a flat profile at the bottom of the profile chart. Subsequent life cycles should move up various points on the knowledge profile depending on the knowledge and experiences acquired in each life cycle.

Applying the law of revision, a soul-driver with a higher revision level for a particular topic will learn at a faster rate than the soul-driver with a lower revision level for that same topic. All things being equal, differences in knowledge profiles therefore forms the basis for differences in learning rates, and performance abilities of different soul-drivers, and therefore of different human beings. Performance of a human being is therefore a function of the knowledge profile of the soul-driver of the human being, and the knowledge profile is the sum total of the acquired knowledge and experience during the various life cycles of the soul-driver and the associated revision gaps.

Learning is observed to be a basic function of the human being at all times. Whatever we do becomes a learning process which results in acquired knowledge or experience, which in turn contributes to one’s knowledge profile. Actions of all human beings tend to confirm one fundamental purpose of life, which is for human beings to learn, making it possible for soul-drivers to acquire more and more knowledge and experience from one life cycle to the next, moving the initial flat knowledge profile at the bottom of the profile chart to a flat knowledge profile at the top of the profile chart, after several life cycles, where one will be all knowing in all fields and endeavors. What a noble purpose of life!

Life is now becoming crystal clear! The concepts as being proposed by the Soul Theory can explain the behavior of human beings based on observations as seen by all and not based on beliefs. Why do human beings behave differently? Why are some brighter than others? Why are we sometimes obedient and other times not? Why do we exhibit different talents? Why do some exhibit anti-social behaviors? Why are some religious and others not? Why do we have different religions? Why are we born into a particular family? Why are some people good at several languages? Why is Africa still under developed? These questions and many more shall be addressed under subsequent Soul Theory topics. Stay tuned.
