Would you lay down your life to save your brother?

I wouldn't.

For one thing, we are in this life alone in that it is a very personal journey. Since the whole of our being has the potential to encompass all of time and since once a pattern is set there is the potential for that pattern to be programmed so that it be repeated again and again I deem it advisable to stay alive at all costs, if it means killing to do so. No matter who wants you dead.

If someone kills you unfairly in this life you are obligated to seek vengeance in the next if your goal is to release yourself by choice through advancing your spiritual development from this cycle of life and death and rebirth.

Would you want a career of being a victim for eternity?
