I'm not really crazy about bringing religion into a discussion of how we got here. All you have to do is realize that any god would have been a non-entity prior to the event or non-event of its creation. She/He would have to have some idea of a date of beginning within a logic system identical to the one we use. In other words God would not have known She/He was God at some time and then realized later that his/her omnipotence made her/him similar to being dead because he/she had no equals for friends. Being God would definitely have it's drawbacks.

For discussions of this type there should be some way of keeping our religious creations out of it. What about all the Gods of other religions? Granted there must be intelligent design, and we provide that, (Figmentalism) since both Good and D Evil and the associated deities we have created are our guides but it's a bit over the edge to really believe that some guy is running around on clouds and thumbing his nose at another guy below the surface of the earth wearing red togs. Can't we do better than that? No....we created God and his red bad bud that much is obvious.

The real question is how is memory stored? If memory has no weight or volume and also no material or energy constituent, how can it possibly be stored?
