Robert sits down at the table with Michelle, handing her a frozen margarita, and notices a strange calm overtake her as she takes her first drink. "Good Evening, Michelle". Robert enjoys meeting and drinking with his customers when business slows down. This one broke the rules; however, and Robert wonders if she does this often. It can be quite dangerous to break the rules here where threads of reality meet and dance for a time before parting ways for other times, other places. When disruptions occur, as they do from time to time, it is Roberts job to fix things, to make thinks right, to edit the threads and remove the ambiguities, avoid the paradoxes. It can be quite stressful at times but tonight all is well with the multiverse.

Robert thinks a moment and then asks Michelle, "Do you believe in free will, Michelle? Do you believe that we humans have the capacity to think an original thought? One that is not based on contextual cues, or habits of mind, or patterns of events?". This idea has been troubling to Robert for quite some time. Robert reaches for his margarita, but, where did it go? Did she? Yes. Michelle had already finished her margarita and was now drinking Roberts! This Michelle lady was turning out to be very interesting...
