This is--I believe--the main error of physicists ever. It is the most clear principle, the only unique metaphysical proposition on which philosophers agree, that an Entity has Properties. This means that if there are properties such as momentum, spin, location... There msut be an entity that has them. Particles must exist. If particles are not spatially extended, the don't exist! Don't you se,e existence itself is being on space and time! You do agree that particles are extended in time, they started at some point and will stop existing at another point (by decay). So just like that, they are spatially extended.
