| There might be a place for the impractical in the cosmic scheme of things, but I think that whom you are likely to find living in that particular realm are the misdirected, those who picked the wrong options when they were first allowed the privilege of choice when they entered ninth grade. The compounding effect of the misguided anticipations of those same underutilised minds with their unrealized potential who went on after graduating to pursue their liberal arts, philosophy and humanities studies is that we are inundated with a plethora of hopeless wannabes, the David Koresh Jimmy Jones guru types who can write theses of biblical calibre but who have not the knowledge but yet have the skill to suggest interpretations of reality that have no scientific value whatsoever. It is for these reasons that channelling in the educational system is gaining more popular support by the semester, for it is finally being realized that a good mind is indeed a terrible thing to waste. We'll never discover the TOE from those who can't accept knowledge derived from empiricism and logic. There is no new science, dan.
