I thought residual image is some thing different.using hubble telescope hubble found that every galaxy having red shift except(doppler effect) our galaxy.this means all galaxy are going away from our galaxy with an accelarated rate.
then we can say that our earth is at center but i think if we will go to some other galaxy then also we will find the same thing(every galaxy is going away) then we can't say that earth is at center instead we can say that universe don't have center.
if we will consider our universe at the surface of expanding baloon then center will be at big bang point
