That is one event that is pretty tough to rationalize but I think I can do so.
You were employed in a position that required counselling people who needed your help. That was a priority in your life, potentially placing itself ahead of anything else, no doubt occasionally requiring you to work overtime if you were compelled by circumstance to do so. The woman whose house you were walking by was undergoing a very deep life and death crisis at the time. The harmonic balance of her psyche with the environmental and social norm was so intensely out of step that she projected unique wave properties that could not be ignored by your subconscious and which transparently reprioritized your purpose, thereby causing you to temporarily forget your partner's address, and which prodded your compulsion to walk to the house, which act was rationalized through your conscious motivation for being in the neighborhood to visit your partner and so your intent to ask for directions. Your brain, unbeknownst to you, had already processed the discordant waves emanating from that woman's psyche into a scenario with which you were not entirely unfamiliar, so you actually knew without knowing consciously what the situation was, and you acted accordingly. Nevertheless, there is rare coincidence in this event worthy of record, the fact of your being in the right place at the right time is uncanny in light of the woman's actual rescue. You might have been the only one close enough to realize, even though subconsciously, what was going on. The energy emanating from the woman reduces in intensity as the square of the distance from the source, so she was lucky.
