Perhaps, it's the medium which is disallowing photons to be at a constant velocity, wavelength, amplitude and so on. But my question is "what is this medium, photons propagate through? (maybe it's aether or something similar?)
P.S Although the michelson experiment have disproved the aether theory, but that doesn't mean it cannot exist.
