After reading "Fingerprints of the Gods", by Grahm Hancock, It appears that the oral and written legends, myths, the bible and stories passed on from prehistoric times are telling similar stories of the past and predicting similar ends in the future. Why not try and decipher what that story is telling us? The truth is something did happen back then, and will happen in the future. The truth is there is only one story about the past that is the truth, and the truth in history is much easier to find than the truth in the future, you have to be a prophet or fortune teller to do that. If one belief system best fits the archaelogical and fossil evidence with its story of the past, then that one might best tell the story of the futre also, then maybe not,
