The question isn't why not, but why yes. Occam's razor tells us we must explain the universe in the most simpel possible way, and you have added some complication to the universe, whiles I have a simpler form. Just as moving forward in time (which we are doing now, and which we do when we rise our speed until the speed of light) we don't get older, but we see the universe get older, the same with backwards movement in time, you don't get younger, but you see the universe get younger. Why would it be different? Give YOU a scientific explanation of why travelling backwards in time has to be different and not equal to travelling forwards in time.
