Rupert Sheldrake (whom nobody here seems to have heard of) lectured last Thursday and mentioned his experiement where he found that dogs positioned themselves to greet their owners as soon as the owner manifested an intention to go home. Of course, this experiement was done with different times that the owner was told to go home, using different routes and with different owner/pet combinations.
