The space time cone in 'mest' theory is different than its normal perception. It is not like an ice-cream cone. It is more like a cone made by two circular bangles kept touching each other. To better understand,one must visalise a three dimensional model.The bangles can be smaller as rings or can be as big as this universe. The wide mouth of the cone points to the large scale infinity.To reach an infinite point it has to bend along a circle . Thats what we say ,space-time curvature owing to the force of gravity. But as evident from this model ,a curved space-time has to reach to the point it started from. For the sake of convenience, we were taking a starting point of this cone. It actually starts from quantum infinity , which is somewhere in the region of meeting point of the bangle. The bangle though seen touching each other, in terms of quantam mechanics,can never meet. That is the small scale infinity, the quantum infinity. And there lies the key to the TOE.
