I mean ,then by anthropic principle ,We would not have been hear discussing all this. To make it simple believe it happened many times and the universe got collapsed. Till it exploded with the force that gave it this speed of expansion.Anyway Mest theory is avoiding singularity totally as the mass , energy and spacetime of this universe in toto can never be zero .
