Turok said that membranes collided. Hence the case of Big Bang does not arrise. It is many bangs but not big band. Lets face it. The overwhelming evidence still favours the Big Bang. Also if there were multiple bangs, then there has to be phase difference in the CMB. As of now we havent discovered any phase difference.
