How much are we actually responsible for ?? Our decisions are our own and on that rock we state our individuality ... But the information that allows us to freely make our decisions ... is ... simply the results of other decisions by others ... whatever species, whatever compound, whatever point in space or time....
When I was young and went to church like a good boy .... Father Pender used to thunder from the pulpit "Man proposes .. God disposes".
I used to think these were 2 contrary and self-denying statements. How can we have free will and exercise it if some one else has already made that decision .... Perhaps it works on the cherry tomato principle ??
