Infinite Consciousness, why do you call yourself that?

I made no mention of the number of the beast. I don't believe in most of the so-called revelations that are in the bible for some very practical reasons and if you had fully comprehended (read) my short treatise on the subject in this thread then you would more fully understand my position on it. When you talk about chakras and the like I see that I am reading the words of an escapist, who runs for the shelter of unfamiliar territory for the comfort that the purity of myth and illusion provides. Meditation involves evicting all thought from the mind, making it a blank so to speak, and then gambling on the possibility that some brilliant truth will be revealed. As often as not this practice, which is essentially cheating, is a waste of time. Yogic flying is bs, just an idea, and no-one has ever done this legitimately without there being some parlor trick involved.

Remember the Beatles and their affair with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi? Their motivation had its roots in illegal drugs, halucinogenics. Read the book of Ezekiel - if you are any kind of biblical scholar you will already know it. Those people lived in the midst of one of the most active trades of that time, the trade in the indigo dye, or Tyrian Purple as it is known. It is manufactured from either of two sources, a plant that grows in abundance in the region and from the shell of a crustacean that washes up only on the shores of the Mediterranean there. The structural nucleus of this dye is the molecule indole, composed of a phenyl and pyrrol segment. It is also the nucleus, the backbone if you will, of the compounds Dimethyltryptamine, Serotonin, Harmaline, Psilocybin, Ergine, Ibogaine, and the lysergines including LSD 25. The implication is obvious. In dilute liquid form this dye looks just like wine.

If you are branding my submissions as pseudo-science, then might I suggest that you regard all science as pseudo-science simply because you haven't the capacity to immerse yourself in any stufy beyond fractions, if you've gone that far, and that frustrates you. I'm afraid that you will find this site very frustrating indeed, as we take science seriously here.
