Hello Not So Silly Sally,
When our consciousness thinks it moves as information (in-formation) and our consciousness imprisoned in our thinking brings to life the information of our thinking. In other words, "AS YOU THINK / SO YOU BECOME."
When our consciousness does not think any information (it does not become what it thinks) it remains Pure Undifferentiated Consciousness and is able to experience and merge in the electro-magnetic energy of thought and use that energy as its vehicle. But why go anywhere when you can "Be Still" and be everything . . . . . everywhere . . . . .
In this state of Pure Undifferentiated Consciousness we are able to use the electro-magnetic energy of thought as our vehicle and we are then able to experience and merge in all the existing planes of Consciousness at far higher frequencies of vibration than any in our physical-material universe.
This is our "Present" when we eliminate the illusion of past and future. WE do not need to fix our future - we need to fix our "Present" - and our future and past will no longer exist - they never did - they are the profound illusion resulting from motion.
When i am in a motor vehicle - a car - and i start the motor - i am fully aware of the "present" aspect of time because of that motor running.
When i start to move that car (automatic transmission) i immediately become aware ( out the front windshield) of where i am going - that represents my future - and as soon as i am moving - i have to become aware of what is behind me - out my rearview window - and that represents my past or where i have been.
I then realize that the same thing is happening to me re my consciousness -i.e. my thought is the vehicle that i am moving and when i move thought i create a past (where i have been) and a future (where i am going) and this in turn causes me to lose full conscious awareness of the "present" and as previously mentioned the past and the future are illusions resulting from motion and the only truth is the "NOW" i.e. the "PRESENT."
When i stopped the motion of thought i realized that there was no past and no future they were illusions that do not exist unless and until the motion of thought occurs.
When i stop the car but leave the motor running i realize that the motion of the vehicle created a past and a future that did not exist unless and until i moved that car.
