IC, you brought this in from another thread by suggesting Greybeard stop spamming. To me, that appears kind of childish to drag a personal beef between you and Greybeard across the board. I have not looked at the thread in question, so my comments are not about whether or not who was spamming or not, but about the silliness of polluting this thread with that.
A more mature way of handling it would have been to tell Greybeard in the other thread that you felt that his approach was spamming - and in response perhaps he could have tried a different approach to help you understand what he was talking about. If he wasn't making any sense, then just let the argument drop. Sometimes some people are not going to be able to understand what we are saying.
I repeat - I have not read the thread in question - so do not take this as I'm saying anyone was right or wrong on their position. All I have done here is give a standard technique for reaching an understanding if possible, and recognizing when to let go if it is impossible. |
