Fundamental Model - step 1 - 12-05-2004, 02:17 AM

I would like to put forth a few ideas to see what some of you might think about a slightly different approach to organizing things starting at the fundamental level.

First of all, I would postulate that the total volume of the universe can be though of as just energy. This energy (ignoring the forces for now) can only have angular momentum and direction. With angular momentum and direction, we can generate volume and density.

Second of all, I would postulate that vacuum space could not exist as a void absent of energy. This is to say that vacuum space can expand and contract based on the energy propagating to and from any number of sources(masses).

Third, I would postulate that some forms of energy are stable. An example might be Dark matter or the proton. I realize that it has been speculated that the proton has a half life of 10^38 years. Test are still underway to prove or disprove this.

I think the particle/wave problem is like trying to look at both sides of a coin at the same time. One side of the coin represents matter(particles) and the other side represents space(waves). And maybe the electron is a transitional form of energy that links the two fundamental sides.

I don't want to make this step to long so I'll stop at this point and see if anyone is interested in a discussion of this nature.
