I want to explore an idea that has persisted within me for a while now,so with prehaps a
whiff of self indulgence,here goes;the idea is this,I believe and accept that the universe
has a background "field" the etheric field,that permits all the interactions of energy exchanges and electro-magnetic connections to be made,without this field the universe
could not function,I believe.

I further think that this etheric field exist just out of phase with the relative space continuum,making it extremely difficult to detect,usually this is only detected by inference.

Now I come to the title of this thread "medium" of exchange,years ago I was involved in
psychic research,and the paranormal,physical mediumship really interested me,in particular the occurance of ectoplasm,which would extrude from the orfices of the medium,coming from the eyes,nose,ears,and mouth,this would be of a steamy liquid like
substance that would roll out of these orfices and run onto the floor,sometimes this would take on the colour of a bluish mist.Now I know by now that some will be thinking fraud,
hoax,illusions,and prehaps someone will mention James randi and his trusty million dollars.Yes there are many frauds,and I have exposed many of these,but there is also
the genuine article,there are a few to be found!

Now the thing that interests me is this;the ectoplasm is this related to,or even is the
etheric field?Because if it is,then the medium is bringing something that is usually impossible to detect,into the physical realm!The medium is in effect slowing down the
vibrational rate of this manifestation,and permitting it entrance into this dimension!

This ectoplasm does not persist in this dimension very long,it can be touched,with care,
as the mediums body becomes ultra-sensitive,and the solar-plexus area is very active
when this is occuring,without mutual agreement,touching this substance would severly
hurt and shock the medium.

the substance quickly retreats back into the body of the medium,flowing backwards into
the same place it came from,at the beginning of the session.

What would be interesting if it were possible to "capture" some of this substance and keep it for analysis and study,it would possibly be a "new" energy source with unlimited
implications?

So this is this basic idea,will add more later.
