Because, all the other waves, sound, radio, light (visible and invisible) electromagnetic, Heat have the ability to bind. They in a sense are dipole waves. The absorbtion rates and distances vary but the comon element is energy transfer- absorption.

Now My opinion

The gravitational wave on the other hand is a monopole wave a nonbinding wave, no transfer of energy. It is in a sense the byproduct of all the other reactions and yet because of the synchronization property of gravitational waves it is the active canvas of space itself. Space runs the show through gravitational wave synchronization.

No multiple dimensions, time is the measure of this process and space is the unwinding of matter, which means space has different degrees of density on its way to synchronize the universe, the same force we call gravity.
Here is also a point of difference, if space is the decay, unwinding, evaporation of matter then space is not infinite.

I worked backwards to come to this conclusion many years ago. I started with one question. What is the mechanism by which when I drop stuff, it falls? by understanding how gravity actually works and how time and space are relative everything fall (pun) into place. The ultimate conclusion becomes that matter
does not warp time and space instead it creates time and space and gravitational wave synchronization is the process that governs the rules of the universe. Einstein combined gravitational wave synchronization into stating that matter warped time and space because he didn't see the whole picture. He invented the sledge when he was trying to invent the cart. By understanding the force of gravity as a process of matter decaying into the gravitational wave and understanding the missing link of gravitational wave synchronization as the force that runs the universe the picture of how and why the universe works becomes clear. Time is both absolute and relative. Space is quantitative and quatitative. They are both actions of a misunderstood process. Simply put- Matter decays into a wave, time is a measure of the rate. The rate is density depedent and the process is governed my the misunderstood force or interaction of space itself- gravitational wave synchronization. p.s. I am late to take my kids to school- the Universe will have to wait.
