But what is cold to a Polynesian might be hot to an Eskimo.
What is normal to an electron might be abnormal to a human.
A person could be described as hot-headed.
Another could be described as cold-hearted.

It becomes a hot object even if it is just a cold blue diamond.
But when a crime investigation is forgotten,
It becomes a cold trail.
When a suitor afraid to follow through,
It has what is called cold feet.
But hot to trot implies sexual eagerness.
What is called hotdog really has no dog in it,
While all exhibitionist surfers or skiers are hotdoggers.
