Lightbulb Does God have feelings? - 03-26-2007, 06:15 PM

"God created Man in his own image so Man is trying to create God in his own image"

Let me begin by saying i am not religious and i do not believe in a Judaism/Christian/Islamic God, although I'm still searching for answers as to whether some sort of 'God' really does exist. Maybe God is in every one of us, maybe we ourselves are all a part of some God.

Anyway just for the sake of it lets say that your God exists. If he created Man in his own image and gave Humans consciousness, emotions and the likes then He too must have these. If fear exists in humans then wouldn't fear be felt by God himself if He is the one who gave us our traits in the first place? How about pain and anger? Hatred? Does he feel these too or does he just 'know' them?

I was pondering a while ago and i just curiously asked myself: What if God committed suicide? Would it be possible at all...If He is a superior being and he has the power to create life then it must be possible within his own powers to stop existing and as a result taking everything with Him. Just don't ask me why God would decide to stop existing.. Just a thought..

Quick and scrumptious garlic bread that will complement any Italian meal. Melted mozzarella is optional, but delicious!
