Re: A Mirror In Your Dream - 05-02-2007, 11:58 AM

true? really? so you have recognized your own face in a mirror? not a picture of yourself behind glas? are you a person watching yourself on videos?
i am actually trying to get such a dream experience - no success yet ... i think i would know of some ways to get it faster but that does not interest me as it would be just for the mirror-experience of it- i first would like to figure out why in general my dreams lack visuals of myself (face, hands, feet etz.(i once saw my own upper part of the body but it had a hole-i was at war in this dream-and someone shot me-the hole appeared big way to big and like cut out with software for 3d-modelling)) - i guess it is because of my brain knowing me/itself from the inside and outside that meaning if i look at my hand doing something while awake - my brain moves my hand and also my eyes sense or my brain again perceive that at approximately the same time - kind of a loop - i call it a loop - so i think it does not make sense to my brain to make myself available in a visual way in my dreams ... why not? because by then i should start to become completely conscious and wake up or similar ... while awake again: if i move my fingers in front of my eyes it requires less concentration as compared if i move my fingers out of my sight - i guess also because of distraction -so: if you see yourself in a dream you may interact with yourself (would require consciousness again) what just makes you wakeup again - not? if not then i guess i could explore my dreams beyond content available as a dream - you could make your own dreams once it is starting - that is the reason why i'm interested in this - until now i can somehow choose content in general of my dreams and also know what i have to do to dream for sure or to dream nothing at all.
