true: sometimes i also smoke during my dreams and i remember having this partial perception of my hand - but i guess that i'm not capable (even if i have a drive) in my dream to play with my hand in front of my view and follow it dream-conscious .... i think it is a technical problem within the brain ... it either comes up with a visual error/deformation or the dream stops, etz. thats why i was looking for a mirror because it is one easy way to achieve 100% visual fast paced selfconciousness without big reason ... and believe it or not (honestly true!) last night i had a chance to check myself in a dream in a mirror and that dream-conscious (not surprising to me after contemplating in this direction the last days)- but to tell you the truth it was not really myself in terms of a visual and actually looked kind of bad (especially my eyes(probably i focused on them as it is natural)-they appeared very very very strange-i have never seen anything humanoid in reality looking like myself in my dream in the mirror) but content of dream around this mirror-experience was similar strange ... - a person in this dream actually said to me that i should check myself in the mirror but i cannot remember what was the exact reason for that person saying that - i think it was a banality - i checked myself just to see if everything is fine with me (like before you leave home for example) - and also: it was not that surprising during this dream to myself seeing myself in the mirror that way i saw myself while dreaming - i somehow said when i was back to that person: sometimes i do look like what i look currently ..... a little later i woke up. anyway i'm not really that interested in discussing my dreams but i had to mention it.
once more:
i cannot imagine that it is possible to check yourself in a visual way in a dream as you could do in reality awake with or without mirror - brain functionality does not allow that i guess - for various reason - i stated already why i think so - i further conclude it is also because of lacking 3d-visual experience of yourself in complete and especially for your face ... |
