We may well have to respectfully disagree.
There is no "out there" independent of self. When you remove the inner self from the equation, you have nothing left. To abandon the mind itself, and search for truth as though it exists in some external form, other than thoughts, is a dead end road.
You see it as a stereotypical viewpoint, because you have classified it as such within your own mind. I got this view through total abandonment of man's ideals, Bible included. And now that I further explore my view, I can see that which is true and that which is lie, the Bible equates to truth. It is the TOE. (Truth On Earth)
Thoughts are the center of our universe, IMHO.
