Science and spirituality will only merge if religion once again becomes the governing rule of the people. Like in the dark ages, they can then dictate belief as truth and do away with all those who oppose them. Do you really want to be ruled by the religious freaks? If so move to Iran.
I guess they could merge if JC returns and gives a better performance than David Copperfield.
