This is true. The eye even has three proteins that rotate according to the amount of primary colors present to give us our complete color spectrum.

There is a tricky question often proposed about how light is seen in dreams when the inside of the head is dark, but I suppose when we are awake this is the same case. Our "light" seems to be made by us, even without external light energy, as in dreams.

Anyway, something to think about. What is lit and what is light?
