Threads have prefixes - 07-25-2007, 11:48 PM

In an attempt to avoid clashes of viewpoint and battling of factions, I have added a prefix option to many of the ToeQuest forums. With this feature, whenever you start a thread you can designate that thread to be one of the three types:

Unified - These threads are open to all viewpoints. Members are encouraged to select this prefix to receive the greatest possible input and discussion.

Scientific - These threads must conform to established science methodologies. More scrutiny will be given to these posts and they may be removed from the thread if they become overly speculative.

Alternative - These threads seek an alternative viewpoint that may be speculative or outside of mainstream scientific thought. Postings made to this type of thread should represent open-minded discussions, yet not so open that your brain falls out

So, let's make this work and respect a thread's designation when submitting a post. I've also updated the forum rules which are automatically displayed before you can start a thread or submit a post. Once you accept the rules, you won't see them again unless I've updated them. Hopefully, this will cause less stress for everyone. If not, I'll have to go to plan B

Thanks,
--Robert
