| Re: Do we have parallel universes Thanks RP; I am glad we don't have to deal with the 3 body problem with only 2 universes. Off the subject, but thanks for introducing me to this problem, because it fits my idea of the three quarks attached to each other ( confined ). Lacking confinement I guess we could have real chaos at the proton level. Thank God there are limits and constraints in our universe ( such as confinement of the quarks or the speed of light etc ) to help us make sense of our reality. Back to the topic. I agree that a spinning coin is an excellent example of both the 4th dimension of time and of gravity's effect. I guess as far as the acceleration of gravity, I'm a bit confused. But like with so much of your information, I have to think and rethink. It's interesting to see how this is turning. I have to be honest I'm not a multiuniverse type person. I'm off to Chicago the next few days for a seminar but I'll return, fresh with new thoughts about parallel universes, and of shoes and ships and sealing wax. Best to all, Pat PS I'm glad Einstein entertained the possibity of parallel universes. |
