MJA - Thanks for your input and support. I agree that ideas must be challenged to get to the truth. Ideally, we can consider others ideas and viewpoints but agree to disagree when those ideas cannot be reconciled. When disrespect is shown it's natural to want to respond with the same. I have found that when you focus on a larger goal, or quest in our case, it is easier to let the smaller pettiness slide by. Otherwise, we get caught up in distractions and lose focus on the larger goal. So perhaps passivity or kindness may be the best response.
But sometimes I just get really mad and want to destroy more asteroids than Dave.
