I can agree to a universal functioning based on an infinitely complex shared system of information, much like our own systems that would give rise to consciousness.
Yet if a rock is not conscious of it being conscious, can't we classify that as being not conscious. Or are you referring to a reactive-type subconsciousness, like the subconscious process of a growing fingernail? |
