Science as a Team Work

A website EvoWiki within wikipedia caught my attention today.
It is a team work with collaborative writings by good-hearted persons to counter balance the wide-spread pseudoscience and weird thoughts.

EvoWiki contains 2,977 pages up to now.
Its Content is available under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike. So, it is really helpful for toequesters who wish to build their own theories better.

http://wiki.cotch.net/index.php/Science starts like this:

Doing science means trying to find things out while trying to make as few mistakes as possible.
This means that before you try to find something out, you have to find out how to avoid mistakes. The collection of ways to avoid general mistakes is called the scientific method. This includes:
  • Studying the special mistakes that can occur when you try to find out about a special topic.
  • Amassing knowledge relevant to the topic.
  • Scanning the literature to find out what other scientists did before you on the same topic.
  • When thinking up a hypothesis, making it testable.
  • When testing a hypothesis, make clear beforehand what exactly you want to test.
............

Glad to read and share also its List of Fallacy. http://wiki.cotch.net/index.php/List_of_fallacy_pages
Before we spent too much time on some weird things, it seems helpful if you check and re-think with that list to minimize some misinterpretations.

Best Regards. Bottomlander
