Thanks for the moral support Michael. I tried to post the article on the Overcoming Bias forum sponsored by The Future of Humanity Inst at Oxford University (
www.overcomingbias.com ) but the moderator of the forum found it "unsuitable". If the forum is about overcoming bias I can not but wonder why, but of course it is futile to pursue the question with them. But I do find it disheartening that the intelligencia of our most respected academic institutions seem to be so closed even in their apparent efforts to open their doors a bit to outside opinions, feedback and ideas. It does not say very much for the Future of Humanity when our academic elite, who should be providing some intelligent direction for the rest of us mortals, seem to be off on a biased head trip of their own. I would like to hope that I am wrong, or that it is just some of them. Science used to be a pursuit of truth. That should somehow involve freedom from unfounded beliefs that we call biases.
