Re: Isaac's Apple in Albert's elevator. (Which way is up?)

Help me out RP,

If an object is measured in three dimensions, and it,s height, width, length, (x,y,z,) is known, then its location or time-space would be another dimension, which is location (w) or a fourth dimension, right?
But are their not other dimesions such as weight (v)? What about the measuring tool, is that another dimension? What of the measurer? What of multiple measurers measuring from different perceptions or measuring points or time and space? Gravity? Then there is motion of the object, motion of the measurer, motion of the measuring tool? And if everything is in motion, not as we would simply wish, or uniform universal motion, but chaotic, everything moving in different directions, or all the dimensions are in a constant state of change and independent of one another; is that another dimension?
Isn't their more than 4 dimensions relative to measuring anything?

An example of the measure of nature:

How many leaves are under the tree?

You have measured or counted the leaves under a tree a 100 times, and know without a doubt, that their are 5 leaves under the tree. You decide to move a leave and find another or 6th. Does that 6th leave count, is their now six? You call another scientist and ask him how many leaves are under the tree, and he responds: "what tree?" So you attempt to count the leaves again by yourself and find, the six leaves are gone; a wind has come and blown them all away. Oh dear, the life of a scientist! Now there are zero leaves and at last you know the truth. The truth is zero. Just when the truth is known a single leaf, much like Newton's apple falls to the ground, and you begin to wonder about the truth, about measure.
Measure?

Are the dimensions of measure not infinite, or is even a single dimension finitely definable?

Thanks,
