Hi Cosvis; My study of the photon is that it's the energy that was converted from mass. It's a 2 dimensional tranverse wave that give it the properties of a 3 dimensional particle. It's speed is constant whether it's in a vacuum or not, it appears to go slower in mediums because its interacting with the medium. It has problem as you mentioned when it comes to mass. Most physicist believe it to be massless, or if there is mass it's to the -50th power or less. Now here is my problem. What happened to the gravity that was in the mass? Is there a conservation of gravity? And if so does each little photon have its little share of gravity? Best to you, Pat |
