Wormholes can theoretically exist, but the mouths do not stay open long enough for someone to travel through (or, in fact, for any information to pass through). In order to keep such theoretical wormholes open long enough for travel, we require the use of exotic matter. Since we havn't found such exotic matter yet, this point of "disproving Einstein" is moot.
