Ok, so this is a rather old thread, but I thought I'd reply anyway.

Wormholes can theoretically exist, but the mouths do not stay open long enough for someone to travel through (or, in fact, for any information to pass through). Since we havn't found such exotic matter yet, this point of "disproving Einstein" is moot.
