Expanding orthogonal forces

If each point of spacetime is associated with one and only one force direction (vector) then the concept of space expansion can be justified. A point is actually surrounded by an infinite number of points if spacetime is defined as a continuum. But how could infinite points be equally distant from a given point or for that matter, how can all points be equally distant from each other? If a spherical surface is considered as a continuum of infinite number of points then the center is equidistant from all these infinite points. But this topology isolates the center from the next layer of the gapping spherical shells. As continua, these shells are each composed of infinite number of points. Points between two shells are all forever disconnected from points between one other shell not sharing the same gap.
