Hi Propat
That AWARENESS is our basic "common faculty" among apparent individuals, it's the True "Self".
What you thought was being "erased" was your 'conditioning' and the imposing fear was the ego or lower-self realizing self annihilation, and so to inter-"fear" into your relative consciousness, where you have always thought "you" were. This phoney egoic "I" entity is the cause of all our illusions, once it has been established as ruler of it's domain it is then "natural" (in the un-natural sense) for it (ego) to preserve hierachy in the reigning kingdom.
You got a glimpse beyond the veil brother, many are never so fortunate

Consciousness is the animation of Spirit.

Things aren't always what they seem.

Best Wishes Profpat.

ps. it wasn't you who ran from it, it was the ego.
a sword in the hand of a coward is useless . . .Zen Master
you have nothing to fear of you own Self.

Yes I would be interested in your site. I once tranced myself and experienced an OBE ( out of body ), I lost Pat and left with just self ( I AM ) but while in that state I BECAME AWARE THAT ALL IS ILLUSION.
At that point my awareness seemed like it was being erased, and i panicked and found myself back in my body. I read later that had I allowed myself to lose awareness I could have visited Nirvania. Did you reach the state of Nirvania?

Best to you,

Pat
