Your welcome Profpat,

I would rather surmise that that was "untrancing" your "s"elf.
one doesn't have to "dumb" or numb to enjoy things.
just seeing them as illusion removes our "attachment" to them so we can enjoy them.
Luck happens to those who are well prepared.
Jesus and the Buddha were happy, they were free from the bondage and were serious when it came to enlightment, what you experienced ever so briefly. The first "believers" were the original "knowers" of the experience. (aka Bodhisattvas and thus The Vow of the Bodhissatva)
Nirvana is not a place you go to, it's a state of mind, The Christ State, or The Buddha mind, the State of no-mind, and Nothing moreit's your birth-right, you think your self nothing more than a puny human, a lowly prince, "Ye Were Born A King", did ye but know it.

OK Sally,

I have my thumb up and I can't see you.

Best to both of you,

Pat
