Your problem, and I have told you this many times, is that you are an extremist. Sorry to tell you, but you are. Extremist conservative. Look at religion, what has it done to understand nature? Better, look at your specific religion. It's dione nothing. The small portions and partitions that it has which are dedicated to philosophic themes are just very easy and simple, no need for a book or a belief to think and conclude this things, they are things you understand just by living. Science, in it's modern meaning and use, is very young, but has given thousands of solutions, theories, predictions, knowledges, etz, to understand nature. I can asure you that most and many of the things that nature can't yet explain and like you say scientists get stuck at, will be solvd by science and scientists themselves.
Please, leave science alone to work, and advance, and change....
Don't try to dogmatize science, you have religions, don't mess up with the only salvation I and many others have...
By the way, give me one, and only one, important and relevant thing that religion or specificly the bible has answered in a rational way, about nature, and that science hasn't already answered.

I know I'm your friend, but I simply can't deal with this religious magnification you do, without being inteligent and atleast recognize the negatives of the religions and have conclusions.
It is quite peculiar that theists have never analized atheism or even try to understand it whiles ALLL atheist by definition do this with religions. (you can't neglect because to be againsts something you first have to know what it is, but to be in favor, there is no need of knowledge).
