Cain slew Abel, and was banished to the woods, where he met his wife and "knew her." His wife was his mother.
|
*** If you want I can provide the verses for you from Genesis but after Cain slew Abel and took a wife they [ie he and his wife] had children.
Eve, on the other hand, remained as Adam's wife and bore him [ie Adam] another son Seth who Eve, now a mother relieved of the grief for having lost Abel, described as a replacement for Abel.
The pair went on to have other sons and daughters according to the bible.
Cain's wife was therefore not his mother but his sister.

The bible starts in incest, as the movie clearly depicted.
|
*** That the human race started with what we now know as incest is nonetheless correct: and it is the human race that so started and not just the "bible" as you say.
That the human race should so begin in my view was evidently the design of the creator and he did it that way in order that he might flex the muscles of his GRACE [unmerited favor] to acquit mankind of sin: no man can say in his own mind that he deserves good from God because even without his doing he is born in sin and from incest.
We might develop these thoughts later if you will but just recently[even yesterday] I was marveling at how things are in the world, in my view God not only made all things but he made man specifically so that he [man] can understand and appreciate the mysteries of the universe. He made man the observers of his works. The other creatures can't appreciate the universe as we can.
And this he did in my view because he [God] "needs" to as it were show off himself: what's the point in being a champion if no one can appreciate your championship.
The scientists, even those who don't believe in God are forced to observe and understand the mysteries of the universe and that in my view brings glory and satisfaction to God.
Enough for now.
