Yes I'm increasingly interested in autonomic processes. Specifically autonomous cellular functions.
Are they keeping us alive because we will it, or do they function according to some greater plan. Perhaps the definition of autonomous provides the anwser in itself (

but I don't think so.
It is neither our will nor a blind universal mechanics which drives the internal controls regulating autonomic functions but perhaps it
is a combination of both. I don't believe that any one cell or process is truly autonomous but I do believe that independent cellular or atomic processes have the ability to register thier own accord.
Perhaps I'm concerned with this as I am concerned with my own "good" health and it is a mystery to me why I keep ticking. If I may I will send a simple message to my macro and micro processes saying keep up the good work and while you are at it, help me to understand other dimensions while keeping me coherent in this one.
