No ... we don't go that far. And we wear ankle high shoes with jeans. Brown snakes are the most poisonous in the world, and a single nip can bring death in 60 seconds, at the least a massive stroke and nervous breakdown followed by years of non-guaranteed recovery if your lucky. If I had a choice I would rather be hit by a high powered bullet.
Roo meat has zero fat. It is sold in all the supermarkets here now.
Those that I will be with are natives, they have an attachment to the land, and many fears of trespassing on other tribal territories. This can seriously hold up the hunt as many customs have to be observed.
For me its an exercise in anthropology, and strangely enough, very very exciting. We do take beer. After a few beers I can dance like any primitive.
