Infinity can exist in the finite
Fractals are infinite, yet enclosed by finite space.
Our universe appears to us to be infinite, we cannot know how much light hasn't reached us yet, so the observable universe and the universe are different sizes.
In Ed Witten's M Theory our universe appears to be infinite. If you were an immortal, travelling at the speed of light around the universe for ever and a day, you could never leave the universe, never get outside of it, just as a character on a computer screen cannot leap out of it......therefore the universe seems to you to be infinite.
But if you could step up a dimension, you could step out of the universe into the 11th dimension. The 11th dimension according to Witten contains all possible universes, every single possible event........any fraction of infinity is infinitity..........
The 11th dimension itself seems in theory at least to be infinitem however there is no reason why it cannot be an atom in an even higher dimension or even in the mind of God.... everything is relative to your point of view....
