Re: What happens after you die?

Hello Robert:
In your last post you talked of a man with Alzheimer’s. The consciousness of this person is like that of a person that is in the process of passing. The consciousness is still unchanged but the interface of all the thoughts and ideas that go with being conscious are disconnected by the damage to the brain / interface.

We exist in a single dimension of time. The data that we generate as we exist becomes the recognizable difference between every one of us that we call character. This character is what we are. By living we experience life, these experiences become what we are. This is data. One day we will be able to retrieve that data so as to be able to put that data into a medium that is not so fragile as the human body.

But wait: Think about that last paragraph and consider that we are in a steady state universe. If this is true then all things that are possible have already happened. Then you must consider that maybe the bald ones with the big head and large dark eyes are the angels so spoken of in our past. They have already tamed the universe and simply await a time when man becomes potty trained so he will stop shitting on his neighbor.
Then we will be allowed to walk among the angels.

The universe gives indication of expansion and acceleration all the measurements result in finite numbers
Indicating size, distance, and time. This appears to be a finite universe. However these numbers never change, they are always the same numbers. The result of numbers that do not change is infinity.
The infinitely finite universe. “steady state?”

When we die it is only the interface that is eaten by worms. Both the spirit and the soul are forever. The spirit is a single dimensional instance of the 3 dimensional consciousness that is connected by an umbilical to the soul that is the single dimensional strand of space that contains the data that we generate as we experience life. This in turn is connected to the body that is an interface to this 3 dimensional space.

There are a few that have experienced the visual of this umbilical cord, the body and the soul,.
This could and has been called fantasy, then why is this visual so consistent throughout history?
This also crosses the boundary between religions.
John.
