Think of a large sheet of latex rubber stretched between two wide points horizontally .
Now drop a heavy weight into the middle, it will stretch beyond the horizontal plane, if the elastic force is weak, it will stay stretched, but if it is strong it will spring back to the horizontal plane and beyond.
So how far will spaceTime deform?
Now we must ask ourselves if we are in the expansion phase, at what point in our future does the compression phase begin?
I am abysmal at math so someone else can do the calc.
Now the thing is, does space time rip and what are the consequences? |
Thanks jaycee,i am hopeless at maths too,it would appear that we are in the expasion
phase at the moment, then again appearances can be deceptive!
warm regards michael.
