| You may be right...
But... couldn't it be that the human brain is fragmented (like a computer; we sometimes have to defragment it).
I think all your memories are somewhere hidden in your brain.
Even the ones you've forgotten. (This is the unconsciousness)
The thing with the brain is that the information you don't use anymore, gets fragmented. (this is the law of time; second law of thermodynamics "in a closed system the entropy increases or 'it's easier to scramble an egg than to unscramble it") You're brain is constantly building constructions out of the fragments 'flowing' around in it. Of course when there are some 'buildings' or constructions you don't use anymore they are influenced by 'the hands' of time, creating chaos, and they get fragmented.
This means that while you're dreaming, you're "computer" gets DEFRAGMENTED a bit. This has a very important function!!! Dreaming is important for your brain, the only function is that while awake you could better use it (just like a computer).
This means that old memories you don't think about anymore are somewhere "flowing" in your brain.
Now, when you're awake, and you're using you're consciousness; you're brain uses the fragments of you're unconsciousness to be conscious!!!! This is the way our brain thinks and feels and gives signification to the incoming data. You start to perceive a signification in your brain; by linking old fragments and significations of your inconsciousness in your conscious mind of your brain.
Of course when you're asleep and dreeming; than you're consciousness is a bit "drunk" and follows a very strange route through those fragments 'flowing' around in you're brain (this is the unconsciousness).
Sometimes you even experience very very old memories you had forgotten lang time ago; and they look so real; sometimes you can even see every detail straight before you... This is because you're perception is following an alternative route in you're brain to link the fragments.
The thing is; sometimes what you perceive while dreaming is so real you actually think IT'S real. So this proves a little bit what a brain can make you see sometimes (think of drugs).
I think we see much more with our brain than with our eyes!!
And indeed... the perception of time is subjective.
When you're concentrating sometimes time looks like going faster and when you're not it looks like going slower...
Did you know you can have a dream during really 10 minutes and you experienced it like an hour...
This proves a little the subjective meaning of time perception.
I still wonder whether time is a function of the brain or a real existing thing...
Anyway when you're clinical dead (this means your hart isn't beating anymore and you don't breath anymore), than your still not dead. You still have like five minutes of BRAIN ACTIVITY... Sometimes your own brain produces than DRUGS which is called ENDORFINES. These endorfines make you hallucinating... So you're actually experiencing 'tunnels' or a big light or perception outside you're body, etc. ... And you're experiencing them like they are real... What a brain can actually do with what you perceive!
Endorfines exist when you fall in love with somebody to...
They give you a heavenly feeling... |
